Drink orange juice about 30-45 minutes prior. Then again, maybe 15 minutes prior would be better, because you're usually in there for a little while.

Eat right before you go to your appointment. And take a bottle of juice with you and sip on it occasionally just to keep some sugar flowing to the baby. And when you lay down for the ultrasound relax as much as possible, the more you relax the more awake your baby will be, the more you move around and walk the more he will be rocked to sleep by your movements. So walk around a lot until about 30 minutes before your appt. so your baby sleep during most the day and he will wake up when you calm down and relax, plus the sugar kick he gets from the food and juice will perk him right up! Good luck and congrats!

i would have some juice and a snack before the app. or even a little bit of caffienated pop but not a lot. but your doc can make him move by prodding.he will gently gigle your tummy or press and the baby will move.we couldnt get my lil man to stop moving at my 20 week ultrasound.

mine replaced into loopy on the ultrasound too. They ultimately have been waiting to tell although. consistent with hazard attempt gently swaying for a couple of minutes until now the ultrasound occurs to calm the toddler. consistent with hazard he/she would have the ability to flow to sleep! stable success!

Try having some soft drink. That is always recommended for whenever you haven't felt your baby move for a while. The gases must stimulate the baby. Good luck.

Something sweet right before you get called. After drinking so much water, could you stomach more liquids? Placing something cold on your belly works well too. Your baby is quite big at this point, so there won't be too much movement. Just kicks and punches.

Lol....my doctor said to keep a baby moving, not necessarily for an ultrasound but anytime I wanted to really feel my baby move to drink coke or eat something spicy...
I'd go to your local Wild Wings and drink coke and eat some hot wings before my dr. visit.
