No one really believes that, right? The democrats hate the shady government. Some libs are nuts, so are some cons. Divisive, both of them! But to say Democrats hate America or American families is divisive and inflammatory. Do you really believe that? Most of them, including myself, love this country with a passion, a real fire for everything great this country stands for. Some see the governement as a rapist of this great nation and hate that but to just say "Democrats hate american families" is too much. Isn't criticism and two sided debate a safeguard that this country will never get hijacked? Anyway, tell me.

Today, I find people wiser than I believed to be true in America. Thanks for the responses, this is pretty much a meaningful conversation.

In all reality Democrats and Liberals love America way more than a Bush Republican is capable of.
Democrats and Liberals hate America, because they suggest that in the hoax of terrorism our freedom are being stripped? Nixon got impeached for illegally wiretapping the Democratic Headquarters, Bush is illegally wiretapping the entire United States.
Democrats and Liberals hate America, because they want us to pull out of Iraq and rebuilt our troops? That is a strategy the only thing that the Bush Administration suggests is "Victory in Iraq", which is a goal and have not show yet one strategy to accomplish that.
Democrats and Liberals hate America, because they say we should be responsible citizens of the world meaning not invading other countries or torture etc? It would be this very act of being responsible citizens which will win the "War on Terror" nothing else.
Democrats and Liberals love the world more than they love America, what do you base this on?
Did Democrats and Liberals give a State of the Union address suggesting a New World Order?
Are the Democrats or Liberals stubbornly sacrificing our soldiers lives for the freedom of ANOTHER COUNTRY??
The truth is that Bush and the Bush Republicans are the true haters of America.

Exactly! Freedom of Speech and the system of checks and balances is what this country was founded on. Checks and balances, thats gone. Freedom of speech might be next.
Do people think that Democrats hate America? Oh yeah. My own father tells me that I hate America all the time.

Of course not. Neither party loves their country any more than the other. But, telling someone that they or their way of life is "under attack" or "hated" is a great way to motivate someone against the person or idea being demonized. You can see it everywhere: We're told that we were attacked because the attackers "hate freedom"... nobody hates freedom. That doesn't even make sense... Anti-gay rights campaigns say they are "defending marriage". How does two gay people being happy affect your marriage?? It doesn't make sense... But it motivates people. Read propaganda throughout the ages. It's been the same for centuries and it's not going to change.

Democrats are only against the policies of the Republicans but they are not against America. It was just accidental that the Republicans are occupying the sensitive positions in government with the Democrats being branded as anti-American.

i'm particular I shouldn't say this -- it is going to justify or motivate greater RW slurs against liberals -- yet a number of the human beings saying that Democrats "hate united states of america" are unrepentant racists. a number of those human beings, who're regulars here in YA solutions, in fact hate all human beings who're nonwhite, and that they remind us of that somewhat in many circumstances. And while they declare that Democrats or "liberals" hate united states of america, what they're attempting to do is condemn all human beings who have faith in racial and religous variety. yet i don't think of each and all of the "hate united states of america" rhetoric approximately Democrats comes from the racists. some unprincipled, unscrupulous Republicans have been using this variety of perpetual campaign rhetoric for a minimum of two decades now, ever with the aid of fact Newt Gingrich championed using slanted & destructive words to overthrow a longstanding Democratic administration over Congress -- so as that Newt's human beings could desire to take over. some YA regulars who use this variety of attack-dogs accusation are basically paid GOP trolls, i think of, area of what David Brock, a former journalist on the far precise, has noted as the "Republican Noise device." it somewhat is to not disclaim that there are some principled Republican conservatives who do not droop to this variety of political airborne dirt and dust-slinging, of course. There are some uncomplicated and civil conservatives in the GOP and in YA Politics, and that they could desire to be applauded for their civilized tone.

I am a far right viewer, but don't believe that most Democrats "hate" America. I do believe many of the far left do , BUT... I belief it is more of a case of Love the world, instead of Hate America.
I think Most Dems and almost all far lefties, would prefer a world government, because we regular Americans are too selfish and fat. I do think that the Democratic party and some of its leaders want to change this country and in that way they "hate" America and want to change it.
You got to be kidding. "nobody hates freedom"? There are plenty of people who hate you having freedom. Saddam did, Hitler did, Castro still does.

No, it's just a tool the right wing uses to belittle the opinions and dissent of those who dare to question the supreme righteousness of their views. Anyone who claims that ANY American "hates" their country is a bigot and a fool.

Groups of people hate other groups of people, not countries. Sometimes the easiest way to classify a group is by their nationality. Most people in this country don't hate it, they hate the people in the group they disagree with.

True Democrats do not hate America. trouble is that the Democratic party is being taken over by the left wing which does hate America and wants to change it into a socialistic country.

these people have been told by Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage and Coulter that Democrats and Liberals hate America and that they support the terrorists. Many of them have forgotten how to think on their own and actually do believe it. Hate radio has caused more damage on America than imaginable.
