Well I was wondering what kind a jobs would be available to me if I got a Psychiatry Major besides being a psychologist.

And Im a very curious person I love learning new things about how things works and such, what is a good Mayor or career for that?

Im asking this questions because I will be choosing a college next year and I want to know what I would like to do in my life so I can choose the best college for that career or mayor.

The Mayor of Psychiatry, huh? A bold job title, to be sure.

there is psychiatry and there is psychology. To be a psychiatrist you should circulate to scientific college and get MD and you are able to prescribe drugs. To be a psychologist you should get 4 twelve months college degree and circulate to graduate college. you will earn PhD and you are able to't prescribe drugs, yet do examine or do remedies with scientific training.

A psychiatrist is an MD. He has an undergrad degree plus a medical degree.
A psychology major can become a psychologist, who is NOT a licensed MD.
I'd suggest you get your terms straight.

Also, you should see your school guidance counselor.
