can you give me ratios of the quantity of ammonium to the quantity of silver or something like that. thanks
all it says is that i need 15M of concentrated Ammonium

Tollen's Reagent is prepared AS :
-To aqueous silver nitrate, add a drop of dilute sodium hydroxide.
- A brown precipitate of silver oxide will form.
- Add ammonia until the precipitate just dissolves.
This is ammoniacal silver nitrate, [Ag(NH3)2]NO3 (aq).

Tollen's try isn't used industrially. Tollen's reagent, ammoniacal silver nitrate, is used to deposit silver onto glass to make contemplated surfaces. that's relatively not so user-friendly anymore yet will nevertheless be used for specialized purposes and restorations.

This is done by experiment in the laboratory - adding the ammonia until the precipitate just dissolves.
It's usually only a few drops!
