I tried this freedownload from microsoft for Grand Theft Auto. It said it was a 2D and didn't require very much CPU power to make it play good. I tried downing it but I never tried downing a game. When I opened the zip file it had a whole bunch of folders in it and no text that was worth a darn to tell you how to make it play. I tried a bunch of them but I finally just gave up and erased the stupid thing. They have some other free downloads though that interest me, and I got the impression they were right around my CPU's era of prime so they should work. Can anyone tell me how to down them and play them or where I can get some other games I can really play. Here is the site I want to use.http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/showcase.aspx?ctid=6

Well the links on that site are just demos of the games, but they do work- I tried a couple of them. Since these are mostly old DOS programs, you launch them by double-clicking on the main program file.

For Command & Conquer Tiberian sun, after you've downloaded the file it creates a folder WESTWOOD, and underneath that, a folder called TS_DEMO. The game starts when you double-click SUN.EXE.

Yes, Grand Theft Auto is a zip file that extracts to a folder called GTA24. The game is launched by double-clicking on GTA.BAT.

You machine should be fine for these vintage games- have fun!

"Utorrent" is a peer to look dossier sharing application. It could allow you to down load that sport by way of torrent. Google torrents and you are going to be amazed at what you study. I recommend making use of Bitlord, or azureus.
