Some people are just paranoid (me being one of them) mainly if someone's laughing I get paranoid and think they're laughing at me. Sometimes If i'm walking down the street I can hear someone walking behind me and freak out (depending where I am) I try and do sneaky side glances to see how close they are etc and if they look like they're going to hurt me.

Yes, I feel that way allot or talking about me behind my back...If people are having a conversation and I am close by I secretly fear they are talking about me or laughing behind my back. I guess we should just do like others have said on here and not give a sh*t what others think and just like ourselves. You are doing it now aren't you? lol ...BTW, it is not narcissism it is insecurities but I am not obsessed with myself.....Most of the time I know its just me and I forget about it, a few times I have been right though....

I used to be like that with some of my friends, but everytime I did, I later found out that they were really laughing at something else. After you do that a few times and find out that you were wrong, you start to realize that the world has better things to do than revolve around laughing at you! Trust me, I've been there.

Well if they're pointing fingers at me in the middle of their laugh then I know I'm in trouble, but mostly I'm not paranoid.

Actually if you see two people laughing and think it is directed at you it is called narcissism...meaning you are so obsessed Worth yourself you think everyone else is too.
Now walking sown the street and thinking someone is behind you is paranoia...I have that in the worst way. If I need something after dark I won't leave to get it because I'm afraid someone will get me before I get to my car.

yeah i do the same thing sometimes...but at a certain level, its natural. sometimes i think that people are starring at me and i'm being judged. and yes, i do the little side glance thing too...lmao! its probably derived from an insecurity or something...but some people are just paranoid.

I don't have that disease paranoid,when one person is laughing that means he/she is crazy, if two or more people are laughing they are having fun talking jokes,that their enterest is on themself.Paranoid is not natural it is inbalance of the mind,I would take nutrients for the brain.Ppl who drinks booze feel that way..
