Right in the middle. Comfortable is the right word....thanks to my husband. To me Dirt Poor is being homeless, not knowing where the next meal will come from and very few items of clothing or just the clothes you are wearing. So...when you say you are Dirt Poor, is that you? I have learned to be grateful for everything I have! When I was a kid, we were poor....not dirt poor, just poor. We did have a roof over our head and food....but we had very little. I wish my children appreciated things more. I guess when you have always had your needs met, you just don't have a big appreciation for things.

I don't think anyone on here is truly DIRT poor if they have the ability of getting on the internet. I'm definitely in between, making my way to my riches.

I think I am well above poor and at the bottom levels of rich. I don't want to sound snobby though. I have more than what I want and need. Whatever I desire I get it no questions about it. I feel for the poor and under privileged. I donate when I can and give whatever I can. I am forever thankful and blessed!

Baby you are only as poor as you feel, financially I'm not rich (closer to being poor) but inside I'm as rich as Bill Gates because I have a family to love, a reasonably decent home to live in and, the means to buy a nice bag of the kind when I need it.

You can afford dirt? I have to borrow my dirt from the lady down the street!
I made $17,999. this past year and have a tremendous amount of doctor and dentist bills. I owe the hospital like $2700 now and probably paid the dentist at least $2000 in cash already. Then there's all the MRI's and the surgeon. And all my perscriptions! I don't have room for much else.

I don't know what is considered rich, I make six figures and my net worth is 8 figures does that mean I am rich? It depends on what you consider rich is someone who has a billion dollars and no friends rich? Or is someone who has a $1 and many friends rich?
