Yes you can. Ibuprofen is taken every 6 hours and Tylenol every 4 hours. They are both different meds. They are safe to take together and often are for breakthrough pain. Nurse

I've been told to stagger them- wait 4 hours before taking Tylenol, then 4 hours later Ibuprofen and so on.
If it's a place you can put ice on it may numb the pain a bit. I live in Illinois and we have 24 hour Walgreens available. Maybe check the phone book for one near you.
Hope you feel better quick!

Um - generally I don't believe so. Both are filtered through your liver and can cause problems. If you have a toothache or something that can be fixed, call the doctor and get in there asap and ask for something stronger. Not a quick fix? You may need to go to the doctor. I don't think it would hurt you to do this once - but I wouldn't do it very often at all.

No do not take them at the same time. They are both metabolized by the liver and taking at the same time can cause extreme damage. If you want to speed up the process of getting it into your system - drink some caffiene.
Caffeine is what they put in the extra strength/migraine pills to speed up getting it in your system.

If you are having that much pain, the safest thing to do is go to the emergency room.
