I parked my car on resident’s property, where I reside with a valid resident's parking permit, which is visible. This decision to park in the parking lot was due to the street sweepings, which were to take place the following morning. I normally park on the street. The following morning I found my car impounded which management ordered. After management refused a courtesy warning to me through the tow company, management forced me to pay over $200 to retrieve my vehicle. When I file a claim in small claims, is it possible the property will be found liable?
