I asked many different awkward questions when I was like 6 or so and my mom and dad tried there best to help me understand what was going on.

What? Just be honest and straight forward. I would never want to live with a mask on so that my child didn't even know me. Everyone makes mistakes and admitting them to your child and explaining why you where wrong and what would have been the better choice is GOOD. Let's them avoid the same trap. Why let them suffer any unnecessary bad experience when you can spare them? Shed your pride and spare your child....

My 16 yr old has asked me how old I was when I first had sex. I was brutally (to myself) honest and she appreciated it. I answer all questions honestly and age appropriately. I just don't know what else to do so I follow my heart on this one.
