Yes. I am a bit of a lousy driver, don't have my license currently, and even if I did....owning a car is expensive where I live (local mechanics all have a racket going, parking is a nuisance, there's that mandatory insurance thing, etc.).
Personally, I would rather just skip the hassle for the time being. Especially since many of the mass transit buses where I am are converting to bio-diesel and/or have done it already....which makes them a bit more clean and earth-friendly.
It's a pity that so many riders have to have an attitude problem though....I *really* wish some folks would get some manners and not just rant at and abuse everyone they see (including me) on the bus.
But what can you do? -_-

No... if I took the Metro to get to work, I'd have to start at 4, change buses like 4 times to get to work at 6. Just too much of a hassle... and miss one connection? And I'm screwed...
Its too much trouble.

No I don't. Our bus system runs near my house every11/2 hours. It is too inconvenient. My sister in Houston rides the bus downtown to work everyday!
