Also for those who do not know what i mean by not using relativity of values and knowledge is what ever your parents have taught you that is right and wrong when you were growing up... You can not base your answers on how you were raised and what you were taught when you were being raised

Right and Wrong is only a perception and relative.
Right for one can be wrong for another and the same thing can be right at one time and wrong at another point of time.

Any one benefitted at the cost of others is wrong.

Any thing more than required is wrong.

Hence one should decide it Judiciously.

A man robs a bank. This is wrong because 1) He is damaging the lives of others for personal gain 2) He is creating instability in a system that needs to be stable 3) He is valuing his own life above that of others

A man robs a bank. This is right because 1) He is taking direct action in his life 2) He is giving himself a better life instead of waiting for someone else to give him what he wants 3) He is using his resources that might not be there tomorrow (life is short, we never know what could happen)

See my point?

Why must I make a judgment about the actions of another? Robbing a bank is something that I wouldn't engage in. Socially, the action is illegal. Other than that, I don't feel a need to judge others in this way.

As to why, I don't need anything badly enough to steal from a bank or from others who keep their money in the banking system.

It is wrong to rob a bank. The man robbing the bank is taking peoples hard earned money! Number two he probably scared the **** out of the bank teller that only makes 9 dollars an hour.Nine dollars an hour is not enough money to make when you are fearing for your life.

A man robs a bank ... Not enough information to compute. What was he 'robbing'? What type of 'bank' was it? Why was he 'robbing'? Making a judgement with so little facts, now that is 'wrong', wrong in the sense that one has had to make several assumptions in order to be able to make a judgement, which is what one does when they say "Right" or "Wrong".

The problem with assumptions is they could be wrong and therefor your reasoning is flawed or biased.

I reserve judgement.

it is right. it would be wrong if he were trying to rob a dog or a park bench or a water fountain. but he robs a bank.

wait a minute. no. i think it must be wrong. He cannot really rob a bank, he can only rob people. so i flipped my answer.

Logically if David & Timoty are men-- both are not same person. To me robing a bank -as per law- is wrong. It is right why the law & society have not put them in right path.

Simple- a man robbing a bank is wrong.

It is wrong because the law prohibits doing so.

However, just because it is wrong does not mean it can never be justifiable.

If you have been raised with love and justice, you should easily know what things are right and what things are wrong. Next, you must have the inner motivation to choose to do the right thing.
The good thing is not hard to discern, but is sometimes hard to accomplish.

you flip a coin?

i think it all boils down to situational ethics...what if the man robbed the bank to save his son dying from cancer or to give a better example what if his family was taken as hostage like the micahel douglas film and he had no other choice? our perceptions of right and wrong are LEARNED.
