Dell A940 Print is really another brand name with the Dell logo placed on it. Is it a Lexmark?

I would like to see if I can find ink cartridges cheaper than the price Dell offers. Does anyone know if the manufacturer is Lexmark or another and what the model would be in that brand's line.

As far as I know, all Dell printers are Lexmark OEM.

Be careful though-that doesn't necesarily mean the ink cartridge from the similar Lexmark printer will work properly.

A quick google suggests that in this case they will, but you might want to make sure. You can't return them if they have been used.

Yes it is a Lexmark. It the Lexmark model X5150 to be exact.
