I think chivalry is wonderful. Too bad most men nowadays don't even know what that word means. I still love it when a man holds the door open for me, or when he stands up as I leave the table.....sigh...Yes, chivalry is definitely a good thing.

Chivalry certainly isn't dead where my boyfriend's concern. I certainly appreciate the gestures, but chivalry isn't for men only. I like to return the gestures as well. Sometimes, I find that it's hard for a man to accept the same gestures. Maybe chivalry isn't the right word, but courtesy...

It is best thing to be so. That shows the attitude of a man . If you are I welcome. If not be so.Though it is said to be middle ages culture but it is most necessary when we people treat women as a consumable good in present day. This was a quality of knits in the middle ages expected to have. Let us have it.Thanks for asking such questions as you are reviving the international culture.

Is better, as it should be with all relationship. Because it makes men more strong and important and women feel secure of them and feel loved. I absolutely prefer that, definitely!!!

It's something that's been hardwired into me, so it's a part of me. I think it's appropriate, more than good or bad. Besides, being chivalrous helps my superiority complex, since it's so rarely seen.

I think it's good, but at the same time, I'm not a snob. I don't mind opening the door for a man. My arms aren't broke. lol

As far as being a southern gentleman, its definitely good. It shows respect towards others especially towards a lady, and it reflects your upbringing and to some extent, your social class.
