But I saw a casting call for it on RealityWanted.com. The show makes it look like they walk up to complete stangers in the grocery store and surpised them. But it's all casted? That's pretty much what I watch it for, not the cooking but the peoples reaction.

well thats a bummer-i thought it was a surprise. Well no wonder everyone's house was so clean. The surprise would be on the chef when he arrived at my messy house--lol

Well you do have to be available for the show. So they probably want to make it seem that it is a surprise. I'm sure all the people do sign up and register for the show its just the do not know when they are going to be surprised by random pick of the draw. They just have to be available at moments notice!

Well that's a bummer, because I love Curtis Stone & I totally thought it was live on the spot & totally random! I guess I wasn't the only one that was duped!
