I use both, lol. Well, the weather's hot here plus my room's positioned facing the sun in the morning and afternoon so you can just imagine how hot my room can get. But when it gets too cold, I just turn off the aircon.

the fan is the only thing that draws electric , the compresser is run by the engine archie OOPS!!!!! I thought you was talking about a cars a/c, sorry! If your talking about a window a/c that runs on 110 volts and a seperate fan that also runs on 110. The a/c( or aircon as you call it) does use alot more electricity a fan would.

I cannot use the air conditioner, too expensive. Fan runs 24/7.

none is rqd when with nature under a tree the breeze soothes you. The a.c dries your skin.electric fan makes purring noise and both require ennergy obtained from destruction of nature.
