Given a 7 game series, yes the Cavs could win. Yes they did win 2 out of 3 games against the Spurs this season, one being in San Antanio.

Who said regular season records do not count? Wait. I remember Golden State being 3-0 against Dallas in the regular season. Still, nobody gave them a shot. Golden State proved that theory wrong.

as a results of fact the point play that a collection has been showing presently is greater significant than the known season experience-ups. it incredibly is to no longer say that the RS standings propose no longer something. The Cavs can easily take self belief from that. besides the incontrovertible fact that the standard of basketball the Spurs have been enjoying interior the playoffs has been many times plenty greater advantageous than that of the Cavs. in case you have been to coach in simple terms the known season record, how do you clarify the Cavs beating the Pistons, who have been 3-a million against them interior the RS.

Beating a team in a SEVEN game series is completely different from beating them and playing them over the span of an 82 game season.

Do they have a chance IF they get to the finals YES. But if you ask me I personally don't think they have the tools at this point to match the talent and the experience that the spurs have.

Yes, they actually match up well against the Spurs, and Bowen can't really guard LeBron. But with that being said, the Cavs have to play above the level that they are playing now to take 4 out of 7 against SanAn.

"Could" the Cavs beat the spurs? Could is the important word in the question. and i say yeah they sure can be them once or twice but i sincerly doubt the cavs "will" be able to beat the spurs 4 out of 7. I just don't see that happening.

Wow this is so hard to say but I dont think the cavs would win, I dont even know if they can beat Detroit. With huges hurt we are really counting on a rookie and a few bench players to step it up. I hope we pull it out some how but we have to beat detroit at home so it will be tought. If they do Mike Brown should be coach of the decade

everyone is so sure cuz spurs already beat the pistons last year in the finals and cavs only have lebron and spurs have an all-around team. So to answer your Q: No they can't

Anything can happen in the championships. However, I have to say that the Spurs bring it during the championships. They hustle and play their hardest during this time. Whoever the Spurs end up playing will have to match them.

The Cavs beat the Spurs twice this year.

LeBron has averaged 35 points per game when Bruce Bowen has been put up against him and 19 the one game he twisted his ankle.

They outrebounded the Spurs and kept them under 41% shooting in both games.

Clevelands coach, Mike Brown, was the defensive assistant under Greg Popovich for years...and knows his mentor's general schemes.

Of ALL the teams in the west, ironically the Cavs match up best against San Antonio. I'm just glad Cleveland isn't matched up against the Suns...Cleveland couldn't handle the passing style of Phoenix, but loves the grinding style of San Antonio.

The Cavs have a good chance against San Antonio, but they still have to beat Detroit at home at least one game. I give Detroit a lot of credit...VERY TOUGH TEAM...but Cleveland's defense has them against the ropes.

Let's see how the veterans handle the young upstarts.
