Because American's will fight for a cause, not blow themselves up for it. (Sorry for the lack of a better phrasing on that one).
I'm still waiting to hear actual good news reports, you know, not about how many US Troops were killed today, but how we're doing a good job. Show us the actual good footage, I mean who wants to see a car bombing that had US Troops involved in it? Come on newscasters, let's get it together.

This is only a guess, but since 9/11, I think more precautions have been taken. Homeland Security etc etc. Look at the trouble getting onto a plane now as opposed to pre 9/11. Much more security checks, not perfect by any means, but still makes ya think about what you're taking onto a plane. I think our waters are watched a little closer, and I think the military keeps on eye on whats flying toward us... ya know, "uninvited " aircraft. I think I need to believe that our country is trying to keep us safe on the homefront, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

Fortunetly this has not been a problem yet, due in large part to increased security across the country. Also terrorists know the US is larger than places like Israel and harder to hit, so they prefer large scale attacks that will do significant amounts of damage like 9/11.

Have you ever thought that all this terrorist hoo haa is just another one of Bush's theory that he pulled out of thin air? Just like he did with the WMD in Iraq?

Because American terrorists prefer to use guns to kill people, and then shoot themselves before they can be arrested.
