Most of the time I don't need to. If a question needs an answer beyond the scope of my experience, I will research it.

No I don't research my answers, I just read and analyst the questions, if it is a serious question I reread it give my opinion base on my experiences or what I think. I love jokes/questions....

No I'm usually selective and only answer questions that I know about, unless I feel an adequate answer was given. BUT , I do appreciate when people look up answers.
