My friend just got her eyebrows waxed. On a scale of one- to- ten she said that it hurt like a nine. But she looked SO good when it was done. I have big eyebrows but I dont want it to hurt. Give me some encouragment, girls. PLEASE!

It feels a bit worse than pulling a bandage strip off. The stylist will apply warm wax, cover it with a cloth strip, pull your skin taut and then quickly remove the strip of cloth. After that is finished, the stylist will apply pressure in the opposite direction with a hand, this stops it from stinging. Then the stylist will pluck stray hairs and put a soothing oil on your eyebrows. Its not bad at all!

I got my eyebrows plucked once and didn't like it. I didn't like the way it looked on me. When my eyebrows get to fluffy i just pluck them from the ends because hair from outside the brow grows there and i don't like it. It wasn't all it was cut out to be the day i was gettin them plucked i thought i was going to look hella better but when i saw it i was not at all satisfied i like mine better just a little fluffy but not grizzly adams fluffy. As far on a scale from 1 to 10 did it hurt for me yeah it stung alittle but overall i wouldn't neceirally give it a level off pain. They do it quick they put the tape on the brows and pull it off very fast. It didn't hurt for me much though cus i have a very high indurance for physical pain but ya know everyones different it will hurt differentlyfor everyone.

Considering it will only hurt for a little while, you should totally do it!

Some people are less sensitive to waxing than others so, if it felt like a nine to her, maybe you'll be at like a four (or an eleven) but, who knows until you try it, right?

waxing of the eyebrows doesn't hurt. I have sensitive skin and it didn't bother me, it was like a 'sting' for about 10seconds. then it was fine...and once you've had them done..you'll Love it*

It only hurts for a second and it will probably be red for a little while when its over (so I wouldn't plan anything too important right after wards). Really its not that bad. Go for it!
