My older brother is 10 years older than me, and we were practically strangers in the same house.. Strangely he now lives on the opposite coast, and we know each other much better.

yes!!i have a couple of friends who we only get to talk with the internet!!and especially my sister,she lives in NJ,and i'm in crete,so we talk more on here!!cheaper too!hehe!

Yes, the internet has brought me and another person much closer. My best friend of nearly 21 years and I have been through a long distance separation once before, prior to www access. Those were some of the worst years of my life. This time it's only been about a year and a half. At least we can now communicate at any time via IM and email. Funny thing is that we've loved eachother for years. It wasn't until this past year of not being in the same zip code that he's finally admitted regret that we didn't do anything about it when we were both still single.

Yes. My little brother and I were best friends growing up, then he took off for the military. We started growing apart, sadly.....especially when he got married. But now that he is deployed overseas, we seem to email more frequently and are rebuilding the siblinghood (don't know what to call it! lol) that we once had.

It's definitely good for long distance relationships and keeping in touch with people.
