Can you tell me the names of comedians who committed suicide.
I looked it up and could not find much, but I do in fact know that there were comedians who committed suicide. Can you tell me who? Thank you.

Freddie Prinze ("Chico and the Man") shot himself after Kitty Bruce, daughter of the late Lenny Bruce, broke up with him. Freddie was a comedian before he began acting and was the father of Freddie Prinze Jr who is married to Sarah Michelle Gellar ("Buffy The Vampire Slayer").
And don't forget John Belushi of "SNL" fame who overdosed on drugs. Another comedian turned actor ("The Blues Brothers" being memorable.) John's brother is Jim Belushi of "According To Jim."

It has been suggested David Strickland from "Suddenly Susan" fame took his own life. David was found in a Las Vegas hotel room in 1999.
