I was 17. 11 seems awfully young to be going to a gynecologist, but if your mom thinks you may be sexually active than she must want proof of it either way.

Remember to stay as relaxed as possible and ask questions! Ask the doctor and nurse(there should always be a nurse present) to tell you what they are going to do before they do it. It was better for me to be prepared for the different steps involved in a gyne exam when they told me what they were doing.

What the heck could be wrong with you at 11? And, no. You don't go to one after you get your period... and no one that has a life takes their baby to the dentist when it gets their first tooth. (The first time I went to the dentist [we have pics lol] I was 4!]. I'd wait until your 18 or sexually active, whichever comes first. (Though I hope being 18 comes first, missy!)

If i am not mistaking you asked a similiar question something like my mom thinks i'm sexually active and your not but is making you see a gynecologist so you wanted to know what happened. IF you are her ( pretty sure). talk to your mom, even if she insists that you go, be honest with the dr. Tell them that your still a virgin ( or not). let the dr, take it from there. good luck

Wow im 17 and I havent gotten it yet..

I know most people get it when they become sexually active, or they are experiencing some kind of problem. Other than that, most of hte people I know are 16+. Then again, the earlier the better, for sure. You can never be too careful

Must say itz like one of the worst expierences in life for women. Mostly b/c u got someone all in between ur legs that you prolly don't know that well. But ya I went freshman yr so 15
