On any workers birthday, all workers have a holiday. Other than these holidays, the workers work every day of the year (365 days total). The employer wants to maximize the expected total number of MAN-days worked per year. How many workers should be hired?

Reposting due to not clarifying that the days actually had to be worked. That is, hiring 0 is not the answer.

Thank you for your help.

The employer would not last long in the US with his slave-labor mentality. Your question still doesn't have enough details to lead to a specific answer.
