It's soccer, then basketball. You can probably guess why -- both are very cheap and need little in terms of equipment. Got an open field with something resembling goals, and a ball? You can have a soccer game. Two hoops and a ball? Skins take the ball out first. Track is pretty universal, I guess.
Most of the other sports of interest are regional. Football is basically in North America. Baseball is North America, Caribbean and Far East. Hockey is played in the northern latitudes.
