because the density of water decrease as the molarity of the water increase..... don't get it?, so do i, i got it from a book..... well.... the salt make the water molecule break apart when it is dissolve in the water..... so... the molecule stay far apart than it is originally

Adding a solute to water increases the boiling point temperature of the solution. Since the boiling point pressure is the same as for pure water at 100 deg C, the vapor pressure has to decrease.
