I'm not that young. I have three sons eligible for the draft. I have been worried about this day since the wars started.
If they must go, I am glad to allow them to serve their country proudly, but I must selfishly state, that I want them here with me and I am hoping for a peaceful solution to the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

College, they didn't draft full time students in Vietnam and I hope they do the same as I think we should be starting to let Iraq run themselves, we can't keep holding their hand forever.

I thank GOD my kids are only 6, 6 and 2! If when any of them are old enough and God forbid there is another war (or we are STILL in this one ugggg,) I would move to another country and get them away from it. If I couldnt leave I would break their legs and when it healed I would break it again! Maybe I would hide them out in a cave somewhere where no one would find them!

My husband and I bpth have nothing to worry about. Besides being color blind and having high blood pressure, he is the youngest child. I have chronic asthma and a deformed right ear which has no hearing.

well ya know for the last 7 yrs the liberals have been crying they are leaving for canada, maybe this will rush them along to leave the USA
