Hello, so I asked this earlier, I have been riding since I was 6, I have done all my research, I do realize the time, effort, commitment, and money the do require. I have experince with horses, so please don't give me all this crap m'kay. I am ready to take a job, so what are some ways I can start to convince my mom and dad?

Well, speaking as a parent, the first thing you need to do is lose the attitude.

Approach it in a non-emotional, logical manner.

Make a list of expenses relating to buying/keeping a horse: purchase price; routine vet expenses for vacinations and de-worming; routine farrier costs for trimming the feet, shoeing the horse, and floating the teeth; cost of boarding the horse; training/lessons; show expenses, including trailering fees; saddle, bridle, brushes, other equipment; etc.

Now show how you plan to pay for it all. If you are getting a job, how much will you make an hour, and how many hours will you work? Will that cover all of the expenses? If you are getting a job to pay for it, show when you will have time to take care of the horse and ride it. And if you plan on keeping it past the end of the summer, show how you are going to do it all and still go to school and keep your grades up.

If you can show your mom and dad all of this, I'm sure they will let you get a horse.

Okay, I went back and found your first question on this topic. Check out this stable: http://www.rivervalleyranchinc.com/

Get a job first to show you can pay for the horse and the food, medical treatments.Horses need alot of medical care. You dont just put them in a field.Once you have the job then you got to convince your parents how you will have time for a horse while you are at work. And have to show them that when school starts up you can go to school, work and take care of a horse.Myself I think you know basics about a horse but I do not think you will have time to care for one.

Tell them what you just posted...but in more detail. Maybe if you get a job at the stable you keep it at, you could work off stable fees. Hope this helps...horses are a blast to own.
