today i got 3 cardinales tetras and 2 blue tetra but when i just fed them th blue tetras wouldnt let the cardinaales eat they would first get all the food at the surface then when they dropped it for the cardinales when the cardinales where ready about to eat the food they would chave them around WHAT SHOULD I DO ! THEY ARE GOING TO STARVE!

They will be fine.... just feed the food a bit more scattered out and feed it in stages, like sprinkle a little and once the blues start eating add some more and then a little more. It can also be good to put a little food right in front of the filter so it gets blown all over the tank. No way the blues can get it all before the cardinals get some.

There are two ways to help this problem.
1) Put the food in 2 different places. One closer to the cardinales and one toward the blue tetras...it should be fine.

If that doesn't work

2) get another tank to put the blue ones in...or the cardinales....

One thing I've done that's worked for me is to crumble the food into smaller pieces. The blues can only get to so many pieces at once. If you break up the flakes (or whatever you're feeding them) into smaller pieces the cardinales will be able to have plenty while the blues are distracted by the rest.

well I suggest u put the 2 blue tetra in a nether bowl because if u don't the 3 cardinales could eat the 2 blue tetra Diana

Do not get the feeding rings. If you do, then the more agressive fish will stake their territory and eat there. Sprinkle some food for the blue tetras on one side, and some for the others on the other side.

Be smart, buy another aquarium and put the two in there,so they don't starve.
