Yes it is not a freedom issue, it should solely be banned on health and safety grounds, not for yourself you can do what you want to your own body, but on people who work and go to places where there a lot of smokers.

Yes it should; I'm a smoker and it should be banned in any public building. The fact that I'm a smoker dose not give me the right to infringe on the rights of the non-smoker. If I'm smoking in my home I ask first if anyone minds or even in my car. My dad died from cancer 26 years ago and he was a smoker and one of his brothers died of lung cancer 5 years before then and never smoked a day of his life but worked in a smoked filled public building. The laws in all states should pertain to any and all public building even Bars and Resturants. I hope that some day I can kick this habbit and be done with smoking (SMOKER OF FOURTY YEARS).

Great Question;

Yes! Its disgusting, and smells! Why should my health be risked because you want to go into an early grave? And to the above person who compared smoking to language, and dress code: that's like comparing apples and oranges. No debate. Your choice of attire is not my concern. If I'm wheezing because you decide to light up in front of wal-mart, I'm concerned!

Yes. Along with improper dress, language, drinking, looking at people,eating, talking,singing, thinking, breathing and existing. Yes we should stop all of this as it may offend someone.

I get to decide what is appropriate or not. This is what we will all have just as soon as the right dictator shows up. Hang onto your azzes as it is coming.

Yes.

I don't give a damn if you smoke. It doesn't "offend" me. But I want to breathe. Breathing beats smoking.
