My question is kind of ambiguous. So I'll add that I believe the main character is smoking something and has a whacked out dream after...

I saw a clip from the movie that had an old man talking to a guy holding a pipe, but it was literally JUST that line that I saw... Supposedly he smokes the pipe and has a whacky dream afterwards... It's definitely not Snatch or LOTR. It's a fairly unknown movie... So I was wondering if someone knew what the movie was. By "project" I mean it's for a project that I am working on...

I've searched IMDB quotes and the web and can't find anything... so I'm gonna guess Snatch?

Are you SURE it's 'tale' and not 'tail'?
And just what do you mean by (Project)?

Thanks for the details (what little there are) -- do you recall where you saw the clip? was it on TV (if so, what channel and in what context - commercial for an upcoming theatrical release or broadcast)? Did you recognize either of the actors (or did they resemble someone else)? Did it look like an older movie or fairly recent? Did the man speak with an accent (British, American, Spanish, Southern, New England, Australian, New York, Canadian, etc)?

My latest guess will be a Cheech & Chong flick - one is actually titled "Nice Dreams" but it could be any... LOL!

Sounds a bit like LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring when Bilbo and Gandalf are talking towards the beginning (their also smoking pipes)
