Hi well I have a netgear dg834G version 2 which works great with my 360.

The 360 is about 30 feet away from the router with 2 walls between it and the 360. Not sure how they work through floors though.

I am considering putting a wired connection upstairs which isn't that difficult to do. Same as putting a phone line in and if you have a screwfix near you they do the nice ethernet wall plate sockets to make the job nice and neat.

D-Link's work great and are only 50 bucks. You can get em in Target. Of Course, you can go up to 500 dollars if you find a T3 in Best Buy, which I dont think youll want

you need at least a 3 port ethernet hub, they are like 14 bucks on ebay. you plug the main line from the modem in the very left hole and then you have three holes you can run cables out of. One for your computer, one for your ps3, and one for your parents.
