as a friend of mine and I were driving by an area where Tecumseh was known to have camped we saw the entire Shawnee camp in every detail. by the time we stopped the car the entire scene had vanished. wonder to this day if we could have gone back in time if we had been quick enough -- I wish.

Campfire question--gotta love it. Anyway, I was a kid of about 9-10, living in a small house in Fairfax Co., Va., back in the late '60s (one of several houses I lived in, my dad was career Navy). Anyway, coming out of the living room was the hall that led to the 3 bedrooms. Turning to the right was mine, to the left were my sister's and parents'. Going to bed one night, I saw something moving to my left, and I turned to see a ghostly woman in a long white dress with a bit of a train, and carrying a candle. She disappeared when she turned the slight bend to the left that led to the other bedrooms.
A few years before this, we lived in England, and my mom always said that house had a ghost.
