I quick wipe, pull up my pants, and awnser the phone. I don't let the awnsering machine get it or people will think I'm lazy or don't deserve a phone(my mother).

Regardless where I am if its not my hubby or my kids I don't answer the thing I need and want my time at home to be as peacefull as possible. When people call and ask someone else for me I tell them I am either dead, in bed or out side and they dont know where.
