Relative time actually seems to slow down as you age since an hour is a relatively longer period of time for a baby (who's age is measured in months), a year seems much longer to a youngster than to someone who is middle-aged.. yet a year could be a lifetime if you don't know how long you have to live (perhaps entering senility?).. if you have Alzheimer's disease, everyday is the same as you don't remember yesterday so aging becomes totally a physical deterioration. Remember how long it took to get your driver's licence or reach drinking age? When you finally get old enough to vote, do you care which corrupt politician gets elected? (Why do I always answer a question with another question? If I've told you once, I've told you a million times -- stop exaggerating!)

I don't know how old you are, but I am 25. Ever single year they go by faster and faster! All I can say is make eveyday count. Do something you love. Be happy and positive! Love a lot and hate a little. That won't make your years go by any slower, but they will make them better!

I'm wondering the same thing most of the time. Whenever I look back and see myself in the past as if looking in a review mirror, I just wonder who put that precipice there between the present and the past. Or I usually think of the flow of time when I notice drastic changes in my behaviour.

Way too fast. I just had the 40 year reunion of my high school graduation and my youngest child just turned 30. There is no way I am old enough for that.
