Does anyone know any home ways to determine the sex of an unborn baby?

My girlfriend is pregnant and would like to see what the sex is.

Take a pin, needle, or wedding ring and attach it to a thread/string. Hold the dangling item over mom to be's belly while she is lying down. If the needle or wedding ring swings in a strong circular motion, you will be having a girl. If it moves in a to and fro motion like a pendulum, you will be having a boy. we hve also done this holding it over her wrist. It is pretty accurate!! Have fun!

The best way to tell is to wait after 22 weeks to have a gender determination ultrasound. Some highly trained ultrasound checks can make good guesses before then, but 22 weeks or later is better because becaue your baby will be more developed by then. Even then it will depend of the litle prince or princess with "show her stuff" for the ultrasound.

Unfortunately, even some ultrasound techs say one thing and you're shocked weeks later because they were wrong. So just go in with your fingers crossed that you get a good look. Other than that... your sure bet is in the delivery room.. :)

Here's my favorite. You need to find someone who has a baby.

Have the expectant mother hold the baby over her pregnant stomach. If the baby puts both feet down on her belly, the baby in the womb is the same sex. If the baby she's holding lifts one foot, then the baby in the womb is the opposite sex of the baby she's holding.

It worked for my three babies, but I know it's just a wives tale.

Another one is that if little girls are drawn towards the expectant mother, then she is having a boy, and the opposite would be true.

I don't believe in any old wives tales. Everyone told me I was carrying a boy when I was pregnant with my daughter. I carried the same with my daughter and son and my pregnancies were very similar except for that I had gestational diabetes with my son.

Not really...don't try do any weird things like trying to look yp there either, you might hurt the baby. But the wivestale is if she carrys low its a boy and high is a girl.

When she is five months pregnant, tell her to go to her doctor for her daily check-up and he will tell her. Tell her good luck from me. I'm pregnant with my second one. I'm going to give birth to her in about 8 days!
