before finding out whether or not anyone has died on it recently?

Life's a crap shoot even under the best of circumstances. Some things I act upon based on calculated risks (county fair rollercoasters? NO!). Others I do purely on faith (Six Flags, King's Dominion, etc. BRING IT ON!!!).

The last time I took a roller coaster seriously, it threw me for a loop

I look for a serious thrill when it comes to roller coasters. I love them. But I wouldn't ride it if there had been a death caused by it.

no i so luv roller coasters. just recently went 2 Ceader Point a rode every coaster there.

no!i love roller coasters!!and i think you have a much more chance of dying in a car accident!!

roller coasters are much safer than bungee or skydiving; those are things i worry about
