i might get a center 2 Duo. Celerons are the funds line, even even though it might desire to be difficult to tell what form of Celeron it truly is without extra information. (as far as i understand all moble Celerons are single center, although there are some twin center Celerons for desktops based on the comparable shape simply by fact the middle 2 Duo line.) The Celeron line began decrease back in 1999 and the CPUs are turning out to be to be shape updates as their mainstream opposite numbers did. The Celeron 723 would be the 1st twin-center CPU for laptops based on the middle 2 Duo shape, although i've got heard it truly is been in the back of schedule. Even which will nevertheless be a miles less high priced version of a center 2 Duo although.

What AMD CPU are you looking at? AMD is a company that makes a wide range of CPUs.

If you are looking at the Sempron vs the Celeron, well I would not want either one. If I had to choose, I would go with the cheaper one since they are equally slow. If you are comparing the AMD Athalon to the Celeron I would take the Athalon no question.

Intel tends to be more reliable, but more expensive. I like AMD since I can get a faster CPU for less money. For business PCs that my customers want to run without any down time I choose Intel. Both are good.

Right now intel's Core Duo and the newer Core 2 Duo is better than AMD's processors. Intel's procesors are usign 65 manometer technology, so there are more transistors on the chip, while AMD is still 90 nm. AMD is much less expensive and still pretty fast. I would recommend the Intel though.

Intel Celeron Duo

You must spend your money for the best brand.

As I know HP and Dell are the best in laptops for a long time and they are very reliable too. I trusted HP and I bought a HP laptop 2 years before, and still like the day I bought it. Didn't even have to service it at least once up to now.

I recommend you to buy a HP (with experience) or Dell laptop.

On www.hp.com you can even customize your laptop. And also you can check the price.

Ok... the Intel CORE 2 Duo is currently the best processor on the market.

The CELERON is a bargain version of the Pentium and is NOT a very good processor.

AMD , Intel whatever, get Ubuntu and stop paying for upgrades every year, which is about how long the hardware is actually good for.
