I mean I appreciate my friends trying to get me in on the loot, but come on.. No company is giving free shoes, laptops, cars, jets, aircraft carriers, etc.. but I still get all these emails from friends saying "so and so is promoting a new product and forward this and get... (insert great free stuff here)..
Am I the only one who checks on snopes.com before forwarding this stuff?

I get about 5 of those daily and just report them as spam , if it's too good to be true then it likely isn't is the old motto I follow concerning them . I have won things before on rare occasion but never anything involving the Internet , usually at a local supermarket or other place I personally shop and can vouch for . I pay little attention to anything that just seems to easy . I did get one of those laptop offers just today but didn't even open it along with a free ipod offer.

No, I'm with you on that Lieutenant. Also the ones who say my doctor will give my daughter life saving surgery for free if I can get this e-mail forwarded to at least 12 million people.

Silly, and gullible.

Don't get me started on Nigerian scams!

I just delete those types of emails. I don't even bother.

If someone wants to give me free stuff they can mail it to my house directly and not bother with the email crap

I tried that once. Just fill out a survey and get dinner for two at Olive Garden. Of course you have to BUY something. I did and NEVER did get my free thing. I don't fall for that anymore.

I don't foward any of that stuff, I don't think any of it could be real. Yes I do wonder why people believe those things, I bet there are some who have tried more than once too!

Those emails go way back to when Microsoft and AOL were going to give you money for forwarding their email. I always delete those emails anyway.
