Killing civilians while insuring the corporate world gets richer
Supporting a puppet regime of the US government in the middle of a civil war
Having the media completely controlled so no one actually gets to talk to the grunts on the ground
Having a private security firm make 10 x what they do so they can break the laws and perform inhumane tasks that don't make in into the military books and no Americans need be bothered with having to hear about it
Being shot at by people who just want you out of their nation
Knowing that their presence makes America increasingly at risk of terrorism
Yes I think the average liberal knows what these poor soldiers are put through
That is why they are against keeping them there .
I guess the conservatives hate the soldiers and want to keep torturing them and don't care what they go through as long as corporate America is bank rolled in the mean time

I know a bit about it, although I was never in combat. Spent 18 months in Kuwait and 6 years in the USMC.
I think what the troops go through is all the more reason to get them home sooner than later.
There has to be either a decisive amount of soldiers to do the job properly, or we need to get the F outta there. The Iraqi government should have been able to stand on its own two feet by now.
I go to the VA hospital in Tampa about once every 3 weeks to a month. Aside from dying, you'd be amazed how many soldiers are handicapped now, both physically and mentally.
It's very sad and seeing all those men and women as shells of their former selves just kills me and makes me take a long, hard look at war.
War is sometimes necessary, but I do not believe it was in this case.

By what they go through daily you mean
1. Not being given a living wage?
2. Not being given proper body armor
3. VA hospitals that are savagely underfunded
4. Second rate intelligence making thier job harder
5. Conservatives trying to turn this into a war on Islam with thier ignorant hate speech turning the people they are there to help against them
6. The President vetoing thier funding bill unless he gets to play with his little toys his way
7. Being sent to a country that did not attack us, to fight in an illegal war with no strategy for victory while having a buffoon at home declare mission accomplished 3 years too early
Yes we are aware and we agree it is appalling what this adminsitration makes them go through.

They know enough to know those bad boys put pantaloons on the heads of the terrorists and cut-throats who killed our American military heroes - and their own people ..and they still don't care . The troops fight for freedom & democracy ..while liberals who hi-jacked the democrat party fight against the War on Terror - and embrace Communist Socialist dictators like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez . Gee..could it be they're falling for Communism ? Or MAYBE AMERICANS ARE FALLING FOR THEIR SOCIALIST CRAP-SHOOT ..THINKING LIFE IS BUT A DREAM IN DEMOCRAT LAND - and won't know what hit ..WHEN THE OTHER SHOE DROPS .
