could be hormonal. I had a major headache that lasted a couple of days. It only went away while I slept and came right back. I went to the ER and they gave me Vicodin and set up an appointment for an MRI. They test came back negative. Nothing was wrong with my head. They did blood test and it turned out that I was pregnant. Some women have major headaches during their monthly cycle and while being pregnant so you really need to consult your doctor.

A headache doesn't necessarily mean your going to have a stroke it can also be caused by a hangover, diabetes, high blood pressure, or maybe your coming down with something. If your head still hurts by tommorow or you start feeling dizzy or faint than you should see a doctor.

I suffer from headaches when I'm stressed. The pain usually starts at the back of my head and progresses up into my eye sockets. It can last for hours and sometimes days.

If you are stressed, take some Aleve or Tylenol PM (if you're not allergic to Napracin) and get some rest.

Good luck.

Drink some orange juice. Vitamin C has an effect on the blood vessels in the brain, causing the pain to subside.

Are you stressed? That usually brings on head aches that last a long time.
Also might be sinus pressure. Do your eyes hurt too?

It depends on the pain. If it's throbbing pain you probably have a migrane. If your worried though, I'd have it checked out.
