Well I'm a Spur's fan so I'd say Tim D. is the best. I like Jason Kidd also. Kobe SUCKS! Can't Stand DIRK - GOAT BOY.

Tim Duncan is a great player, but for some reason I just don't like him. Don't ask me why because I couldn't tell you.
Tracy McGrady is very good, but always unable to get over that hump. He has the talent, but until he uses it to take a team past the first round of the playoffs I'll think he is overrated.
Steve Nash is the best point guard in the NBA. He is a great guy, too. With all of the controversy surrounding the Suns and Spurs he stayed quiet for the most part while others threw around slanderous remarks.
Kobe Bryant is the most talented player of the last 10 years. Notice I said most talented and not best. He needs to win at least one championship without Shaq to become the best in the last 10 years, and he needs to become a better leader to do it.
Lebron James is also one of the best in the NBA. He gets criticized a lot, and he should because he made the leap to the NBA. However, we often forget that he's only 22 years old.
He is better than Kobe was at this stage in his career, Kobe just had more help on his team.
Ben Gordon is very good, as well, though he has a tendency to choke sometimes. If he can stay consistent in crunchtime like he did last year, but in the playoffs, he has the chance to be one of the best in the NBA.
I don't know much about Luol Deng, but what I do know is what college he comes from. Duke churns out a lot of talented players, but not only that, they are well mannered and humble players, as well.
Dwyane Wade is a phenom. It is a shame he got injured.
Dirk Nowitzki has never had a problem with choking until this year. Perhaps the pressure of being the leader in the MVP race at the time got to him, but he is still a very good player.
Carmelo Anthony is very talented, though I get the feeling he is an underachiever. Also, he might need an attitude adjustment, due to his lengthy suspension this year. I think he had begun to change in the second half of the season, but didn't get to show it.
Jason Kidd is the second best active point guard, and I have no idea why the nets are not better, but my guess would have to be the coaching because the players are all there (especially Kidd, Carter, and Richards).
Gilbert Arenas is another choker. He is one of the most exciting players in the NBA,though, and I look for good things in the future from him.

tim duncan- Good low post player with good D. One of the best player right now... the reason for spurs success..

tracy mcgrady- Good overall player but needs to stay healthy and better supporting case in order to advance in playoff

steve nash- one of the best PG, good overall vision and great passer

kobe bryant- best offensive player right now, learned to pass in the pass season but need better supporting case. Demanding a trade.

lebron james- one of the best in league, an overall player... He's strong and quick which makes him hard to defense. A pretty good defender as well.

ben gordon- a good offensive player but under size. give opposing team an advantage when chicago is on defense.

luol deng- good offensive player and good blocker but need to polish is offensive skills better so it will be consistence.

d wade- good offensive player who led the heat to champion last year. Injured this year and referee doesn't go his way as offen now.

dirk (cant spell his last name)- best PF in the league. he can score anywhere in the court but needs to play inside more (that caused them to lose to GSW). decent defender for his size.

carmelo anthony- one of the best scorer right now but play more defense....

jason kidd- a good PG that is going downhill, still has the court vision that give deadly passes

gilbert arenes- one of the best closer in the game right now. amazing 3 point range which makes him one of the best offensive player... a pretty good defender

tim duncan- one of the best bigs to ever play
tracy mcgrady- reminds me a little bit of dominique wilkins...except nique got out of the 1st round...
steve nash- the best pg in the game right now...should've got mvp...
kobe bryant- best pure scorer of this era whose biggest enemy is himself sometimes...
lebron james- the closest thing to oscar robertson yet to be seen in the nba but he's still got many years to go...
ben gordon- already one of the great clutch players in the nba, the bulls shouldn't be tempted to trade him...
luol deng- quickness and deadly mid-range game make him a nightmare to guard but needs to step up the d just a bit...
d wade- one of the most explosive players in the game, just needs to get healthy...
dirk (cant spell his last name)- a great player who goes soft mentally in crucial playoff situations...
carmelo anthony- the most overrated "star" in the nba...a good scorer around the basket but extremely selfish and one-dimensional...
jason kidd- was the best pg in the game untill the emergence of steve nash...still has 2-3 more good seasons in the tank though...
gilbert arenes- fun to watch, explosive and a great story...but needs to pick it up on d and assert himself as a leader for washington...
