hi i have a tropical setup and was looking for info on seahorses as my hubbys interested how easy are they to keep? what do they eat ? would my other fish get on with them i have a plec a corey a mini puffer fish(for those pesky snails) guppys neons are they best singly or more than one
is there anywhere i can find out about them?

Just google them you can find out lots more info. Unfortunately sea horses are not tropical fish they are marine fish - saltwater fish. They will not go in your tropical fish tank and the seahorse will die.

A saltwater tank is not an easy transition, you will not be able to move any of your current fish into a salt tank.

Seahorses are for saltwater tanks.If you would put them in a tropical tank,they would die.They need very specialized care,and are very delicate.It's really not wise to buy them,as most of them are wild - caught,and many of them die before even reaching the pet shops.Also,they are quite expensive,and need a special diet. I heard they are the hardest to keep, they die an are really weak.

very hard - they would definately die - i love them myself but i couldnt have any either booooo lol
