I am not a dr., obgyn, nurse, or anything close to that, however, when I took my first 2 preggo tests the second lines were extremely faint, but they were there, I also experienced pain, although no bleeding, in my lower back. You need to contact your care provider, the bleeding could have been due to implantation or it could have been an early miscarriage, in which case you want to make sure that everything is out of your system so that you will not incur other problems in the future.

I had something similar happen a little over a year ago. I started noticing all of the symptoms of pregnancy (breast tenderness, nausea, weight gain, hair and nail growth, etc.) but I wasn't late for my period. I knew it was still too early to even take a pregnancy test (I'd taken one at about that time with my younger daughter, and tested negative! When I was really about four weeks pregnant). A day or two after I started to really focus on the symptoms, I started bleeding, with severe stomach cramps (worse than when I have my period!) The blood was actually BROWN, not bright red or pink or anything! And there were some very large clots in it. I've never had bleeding like that on the first day or even the first HALF of my period before, and never passed clots that big.
I ended up going to the emergency room to get checked out. I was positive (and still am) that I was having a miscarriage. I told them the symptoms, and they gave me a pregnancy test (urine). It came back negative. The doctor told me that, if I had been pregnant any time in the previous week, it would have shown up positive, and that, because it didn't, I wasn't having a miscarriage, because I hadn't been pregnant to start with! I made him check my cervix, just to be sure. He said that there was no sign of it having dilated or anything, so, basically, I was imaging things . . . The funny thing is, my doctor's office is affiliated with the same hospital (the office is actually located IN the hospital), and they told me that the tests the ER uses are no more reliable than an HPT, which, at the same time in a previous pregnancy, had given me a false negative! They agreed that it most likely was, in fact, a miscarriage . . . That baby would have been about nine months old now . . .
If you seriously think you may have had a miscarriage, call your doctor ASAP. It's possible that it hasn't actually happened yet, that it's a "threatened miscarriage;" if that's the case, they may be able to stop it. If it has happened, they'll need to make sure that all of the fetal and placental tissue is gone, so that you don't get an infection.
Good luck . . .

It varies, however I consider it might probably take a month in your hCG phases to return to 0 (or undetectable in a experiment). So it is feasible that you're nonetheless checking out optimistic due to the fact that of the miscarriage, however additionally it is feasible that you just would be checking out optimistic due to the fact that you're pregnant once more. The handiest technique to be certain is to talk over with with a health practitioner and feature a blood experiment with exact hCG phases (no longer simply above/underneath a specific quantity, like HPTs exhibit) to peer if the quantity is emerging (pregnant) or nonetheless shedding (submit-miscarriage). Good good fortune.

It could be a chemical pregnancy and the bleeding is an early miscarriage, but it could also be an ectopic pregnancy especially if the pain is bad. I had an ectopic and it started with cramps then progressed to intolerable pain with bright red bleeding. Please call your doctor! I hope everything is ok :)

It is common for an egg & sperm to join and not be viable. It is sluffed off with menstration. It happens more than people know. Also with a pregnancy there could be more than one zygote and only one plants itself and becomes a pregnancy.
If you are having pain and if you are feeling different..get t your doctor. You might need a D & C.
It happened to me and I needed to have a D & C
Where my uterous was.......not sure how to word it any better than to say it was scraped out to insure there wasn't any hemorage.
