Alright, first a few days ago Ric Bucher reported that Kobe Bryant wanted to be traded, then Kobe a day later goes on the radio and the defensive saying quote "If I wanted them to trade me, I would go in and tell them to trade me." Then today on Steven A Smith's radio show, Kobe flat out says he wants to be traded, and when given not one, but two chances to retract it, being asked if there "was anything the LA Lakers could do to change his mind" he flat out says "no."

Now! Kobe retracts his trade request (turn on ESPN news right now if you dont believe me)

Now, my question is, DOES THIS MORON EVER KNOW WHAT THE HELL HE WANTS??????

he likes Shaq, he likes Jackson, he hates Shaq, he hates Jackson, he wants to be traded, no he doesnt, he wants to play for the Clippers...no he doesnt, he raped a girl, no he didnt....he ran Shaq off....no he didnt.....

Yea, it's a little confusing hearing all the contradictions...but I think 1 of 2 things will happen: 1) a dramatic shake-up in the Lakers' front office (Kupchak out & West in) and at least one major trade being made or 2) Kobe holding up a new Clippers jersey at a press conference this summer.

I agree with you for the most part. However, as he mentioned several times in the interview with Stephen A. Smith, there are things going on secretly that the general population doesn't know about, and they had apparently deeply offended him. The first trade rumor I believe was made up. The second I believe he made out of anger without thinking. Who knows, they may have sat him down, told him everything would be alright and he could have whatever he wanted. That along with the sentimental value of being a Laker for my entire career would make me stay, too.

Great responses. I cancelled my season tickets after Kobe's crappy shot selection in Game 1 vs the Pistons and subsequent disbanding everybody so that he could have his team all to himself. Go away, Black Mamba, just go!
