I think it's the other way around. Hawaiians like to think they are a unique culture, and Americans, I think, when it is convenient. They call you Haoli's....don't you know.

I love Hawaii. It is the same as the rest of the 49 states, (they have internet, skyscrapers, cars, malls, designer clothes). But it is different because of the amazing beaches and easy atmosphere.

To be completely honest, I rarely think of Hawaii.
I think of Alaska, though. And I don't think of it the same as the other states. That place is really interesting, but I'd never live there because I hate the cold.
