Why does bonds catch all the criticism for using steroids, why is it not spread evenly amongst the major leagues?

This is about more than Barry using steroids for a short time.
( Keep in mind Barry has never failed a drug nor steroid test. )

This is more about all the people Barry has pissed off over the years when he was considered the biggest jerk on earth by his teammates, fans, MLB, and the media.

Now all of these people are doing everything they possibly can to get back at him by discrediting his name as much as possible in the public's eye.

Don't let the media lead you astray.

Barry is not worse because he never tested positive for steroids and the MLB's independent laboratory proved that fact. He should not be critized if he never was found to have drugs in his system. So what if he brushes off reporters..... It's their fault for smearing and lying about him.

Barry Bonds is not "cut" or defined, otherwise it would be difficult to have a quick bat speed due to all the tight and enlarged muscles in his arms and back if he took steroids.

Barry still has adequate eyesight in order to see the ball. Steroids will diminish your vision and deteriorate your eyesight to the point where nothing will be viewed sharply.

Barry has his wits about him. The story that Barry Bonds is a jerk and has an attitude problem is just made up by disgruntled reporters because Barry does not want to grant 100% of the requested interviews. His anger is only due to reporters and their smear campaign against him. Also, the abrasive fans that are brainwashed into thinking he is a bad person rubs him wrong too. Steroids will turn you into a maniac that cannot control rage. I met him many times at my place of employment during the "so-called" drugged up years. He was pleasant, willing to chat, sign autographs, respected all that approached him and was not a jerk. Even when I met him after he got his knee scoped, he shook people's hands, signed autographs and did not get impatient, even though he was in obvious pain.

Barry's growth spurt is not unusual and not related to drug use. Barry is not "hulked" up or turned into Mr. Universe. When you age, your metabolism slows down. He is not built, defined or cut. Just big, fat or chubby, as his younger brother told the media.

First of all you have a lot of a@@ backwards non baseball fans in general that have judged this man on the heresay of what the media has told them which is often a negative one sided view point of this man. Barry is now paying for being a career long a@@hole to baseball and the media. This is their way of getting back at him for all of those people that he has pissed off in the past. The worst he has done is used short term which he did admit to. The majority of his career is legit so people really need to get over it. I agree with Romulus. He is no more guilty than any other short term user. And had he used earlier we all would know about by now and Barry would be in jail.

Why, he is an insult to the game, but every other player is an insult too, they just aren't as easy to hate, I mean Barry is so easy to hate for specific reasons and guess what this is coming from a Giants fan.

Also people don't realize look at the other steroid users who aren't even as close as good as Barry

Because no one else is about to set the most storied record in all of American Sports. Its that simple, everything negative surrounding the man comes from that one fact. No one wants to see a suspected cheater take the record from Hank. If Giambi or McGwire or Sosa was approaching the record you would see just as much criticism piled at their feet as we're seeing with Bonds.

The single biggest factor here isn't his use of PED's and has nothing to do with his skin colour. It's his attitude towards the media and the fams, which has alwyas been miserable.

Because he's such a record-breaker! He's challenging the greatest hitters of all-time but cheated to beat them. That's what the big deal is.

Its because he has never tried to endear himself to the public or to the press. He makes it easy to dislike him.
