I know there is a position for being a ball washer but I don't know their salary. Maybe they get good tips though.

Yes they do. When I was 12 I used to get 1 cent a ball.
You could do 100 balls an hour. That works out to $1 an hour.
Not bad for 1955.

THe golf course i work at has a machine that washes balls. and at every hole their is a little thing that washes balls. So... no. and a ball washer would probably just do all the cartbarn work.

If you are referring to men or boys whose job it was to wash golf balls, those days are gone. Most clubs supply ball washers on most every teeing ground and the player is responsible to maintain the cleanliness.

Yes, they do. They work best when the dirt has not dried on the ball. You can wash up to four balls an entry. I am not sure of th salary.

Yes, I filled out an application for that but they hired some guy who just got bailed out of jail instead.. I here he loves the job even though it don't pay much.
