What is best when buying a apple laptop glossy or the other?

would like to know the differences as well as the perks of either/or I am a photo/graphics student who enjoys producing videos as a pastime

the glossy is better because it looks alot nicer with a shiny "glossy" finish

well blacks are deeper and richer on glossy screens, so watching movies on it will look good. The draw back of glossy screens is glare off of lights or out in the sunlight. I chosse thje matte finish wen i got my MacBook Pro.
