I'm thinking about going into game design, and I want to know a fast and easy way to learn Java Script. There's this program for Macs, called Unity, that lets you design games for the Macintosh platform. The only problem is that they reccomend you to use Java Script. Any ideas?

For serious programming you need to buy a book on javascript and practice.

I suppose this Unity thing let you design simple Myst style games? There are lots of those but anyway, the framework that Unity provide is certainly nothing like Web browser DOMs even if we can call that framework DOM as well, which means only good way is for you to call up Script Console in the browsers, javascript: as URL or call up Console via Firefox's Tools menu.
